Emberwood restaurant

Modern British Flavours

Simple cooking over flames served with passion and flair.

Where to start?

We welcome you to dine with us. Experience the warmth from the hearth to every plate, in every pour and through every server's gesture.

To begin, a nod to the coastal towns of Cornwall with coal roasted scallops, garlic butter and gremolata or crispy Porthilly oysters and Somerset lardo.

And, for the main event, it's a celebration of honest, seasonal produce. Savour and share a dry-aged Westcombe Farm côte de boeuf, whole monkfish tail wrapped in cured lardo, or a beef shin and stout pie, slow-braised and served with cavolo nero and celeriac.

Let vegetables take centre stage, with seasonal produce. Chargrilled heritage carrots, burnt aubergine with goat’s curd and confit tomatoes. Honouring freshness and quality.

Emberwood restaurant Bath

Meet us on the terrace

For lunch, Executive Head Chef David Hazell has brought the coast to our door. Think a signature octopus sub roll served with Koffman fries. Or visiting Bath for the day, and want something hearty? Pick the schnitzel with lardo fries topped with celeriac remoulade. As evening settles, you may crave something from the hearth. Coal-roasted scallops followed by bavette are available. Just the same as inside, made alfresco.

This summer, our wine list had a glow-up. A few more crisp pinks. A few chilled reds. Because we know, it's all the talk at the moment. Available by the glass, in a carafe, or by the magnum if the occasion calls for it.

Ask your server what's moving. We're confident you'll find something worth staying for. Your table is waiting; no need to book ahead.

Arrive and let us take care of you.

And for the wow

Savour a dessert experience. What you see is just as exciting as what you taste.

The dessert trolley, a firm favourite, rolls up to your table, offering a a classic Opera cake and light raspberry and lemon choux.

Perhaps one of our chilled signature options. Emberwood rhubarb and custard, or a charred pear and sunflower frangipane with refreshing vanilla ice cream. Which one is saying devour me?

Each dessert is crafted to impress, giving you the chance to enjoy something that not only tastes incredible but looks every bit as delicious.
