We are proud to host the Francis Hotel Afternoon Tea experience in the elegant surroundings of Emberwood, in the heart of Bath.
Combining timeless British tradition with contemporary flair, guests can enjoy a beautifully curated selection of delicate finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones with clotted cream and preserves, and handcrafted pastries.
Perfect for celebrations, special occasions, or an afternoon spent with friends and family. Afternoon Tea offers a refined and memorable experience inspired by the heritage and hospitality of the Francis Hotel.
Served between midday and 4:00pm, Monday to Saturday in Emberwood, a British brasserie.
Please note bookings must be made in advance, walk-ins are not available.
The menu
We've taken our approach to our city's Georgian culture. Where modern pastry, from Chef Pâtissier Dominique Bon, meets proper tea, hand-blended from Gillards of Bath, and the only agenda is enjoying both.
A platter of sandwiches, rare roast beef and homemade horseradish or beetroot jam and roasted red pepper sandwiches, accompanied by classic warm scones served with strawberry jam and clotted cream.
Then, a moment for selection: macarons with flavours of the season, raspberry and white chocolate choux, and a few British classics, because picking what defines the occasion.
