Soul Stew

Soul Stew Bath joins us at Emberwood bar on Thursday 22nd and Thursday 29th October, with Andrew Boyd bringing smooth Northern Soul and a hint of new funk.
An Old Fashioned, a few friends and a soundtrack worth putting your phone away for. That’s Thursday looking rather promising.
Andrew will be setting the mood from 7 pm to 10 pm, so close the laptop on time and make an evening of it. Come for dinner and stay for the music, or meet us at the bar for a cocktail or two.
Booking at the restaurant is recommended. Walk-ins in the bar only.
Beaujolais Nouveau
We’re celebrating Beaujolais Nouveau at Emberwood with Christophe Pacalet, one of the region’s most brilliant winemakers, and Claire Thevenot of Vins Clairs.
£90 per person, including a three-course Emberwood menu and accompanying Beaujolais throughout the evening.

Easy Sundays
Sunday can be a pause, a celebration, or the perfect way to welcome the week ahead. That's what Easy Sundays are about.
Every other Sunday, between 7pm and 9pm, join us for an evening meal or drinks and live local jazz.
Led by local musician John Martin and a rotating collective of talented jazz performers. Take a seat beside the crackling hearth, or a table close enough to feel the resonance of the double bass.

This is our favourite way to dine and party. A long table stretched with decorative plates, silverware and served with something sparkling or red. If you're planning to visit us for a special occasion or a local looking for the perfect place to be treated, Emberwood is the spot to pick.

Festive Happenings
Christmas at the Francis Hotel has its own particular charm and magic. Emberwood is the perfect setting to gather colleagues, clients, or cherished family and friends for a pre-Christmas feast.
From Christmas Eve through to Boxing Day, the hotel becomes a home for festive getaways, from midnight mass at Bath Abbey to mince pies, tipples, and days filled with delicious locally sourced food. All enjoyed in beautiful surroundings, right on the doorstep of the city that does Christmas best.
