From the kitchen
For lunch, Executive Head Chef David Hazell has brought the coast to our door. Think a signature octopus sub roll served with Koffman fries. Or visiting Bath for the day and want something hearty? Pick the schnitzel with lardo fries topped with celeriac remoulade.
As evening settles, you may crave something from the hearth. Coal-roasted scallops followed by bavette are available. Just the same as inside, made alfresco.
Your table is waiting; no need to book ahead. Arrive and let us take care of you.
Magnum of Provence
This summer, our wine list had a glow-up. A few more crisp pinks. A few chilled reds. Because we know, it's all the talk at the moment.
We're pouring Domaine Kennel Côtes de Provence Rosé. A precise, bright kind of wine that tastes like the season in a glass. Even on a rainy day. Beyond the Provence, our wines sing of the season and complement a few new arrivals on the menu. Available by the glass, in a carafe, or by the magnum if the occasion calls for it.
Ask your server what's moving. We're confident you'll find something worth staying for.
Sundowner cocktails
As locals, it's a ritual. The working day ends, and the city fills with the kind of energy that only arrives when summer falls on Bath stone. Our menu will be waiting.
Our cocktails have character, much like the Bathonians they're built around. A classic Negroni, with a focus on quality ingredients. Something zesty to brighten the hour. Or for the flamboyant, the Beau Nash, topped with foamed banana and a base of local rum Vapoura. A dessert in a glass with candied fennel sprinkles. Each one suits the table it finds itself on, and the conversation accompanies it.
Pair it with the snack menu. Pickled anchovies. Croquettes. Caesar salad. The tables are the perfect size to decorate with drinks and small plates.
Join us any day, any occasion. Cocktail, a schooner or a glass of something from the vine.
